To be a father takes backbone. It is everything in me to stand with my son, right or wrong and let him know I will always be there for him.
He is struggling with school and himself. His step dad called him a crybaby when said step dad's pit Bull jumped on him and hurt him. I was standing there when it happened. I turned this around in my head for awhile. Finally the situation allowed for me to tell his step dad that that was not okay. Did it matter? I don't know. But now my son knows it isn't okay and that was my goal.
